Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb fish fillets, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- 4 garlic naan breads
Instructions
-
In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
-
Add the fish cubes to the marinade and coat them evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes or refrigerate overnight for best results.
-
Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
-
Skewer the marinated fish cubes onto skewers and place them on the grill or oven rack. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and slightly charred.
-
While the fish is grilling, heat the garlic naan breads according to package instructions or toast them on a hot skillet for a few minutes until warm and slightly crisp.
-
Serve the grilled fish tikka skewers on top of the garlic naan breads and garnish with chopped cilantro, lemon wedges, and a dollop of yogurt sauce if desired.
