Ingredients

  • 1 pound of prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons of tamarind paste
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together tamarind paste, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, vegetable oil, honey, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

  2. Add the prawns to the marinade and let it marinate for 10 minutes.

  3. Heat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the prawns for 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through.

  4. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
