Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 4 oz smoked salmon
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and drop spoonfuls of batter onto the skillet.

  5. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another minute or until golden brown.

  6. Remove the blinis from the skillet and let them cool slightly.

  7. In a small bowl, mix together sour cream and fresh dill.

  8. Place a small piece of smoked salmon on each blini and top with a dollop of the dill sauce.

  9. Serve the smoked salmon blinis as an elegant appetizer for your guests to enjoy.
