How To Make Seafood Cioppino Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 lb mussels
- 1 lb clams
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb white fish fillets, cut into chunks
- salt and pepper to taste
- fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and celery. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the crushed tomatoes, vegetable broth, white wine, dried basil, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, and bay leaf to the pot. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.

Add the mussels, clams, shrimp, and white fish to the pot. Cover and cook for another 10 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and the mussels and clams have opened.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the bay leaf.

Serve the cioppino hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
