How To Make Mini Salmon & Dill Puffs

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 150g smoked salmon, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into small squares or circles.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the smoked salmon, fresh dill, cream cheese, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.

  4. Place a spoonful of the salmon mixture onto each pastry square.

  5. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg, then fold over to create a small puff.

  6. Place the puffs onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  7. Brush the tops of the puffs with more beaten egg.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.

  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
