Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or broiler.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Thread the prawns onto skewers, then brush them generously with the herb butter sauce.

  4. Grill or broil the prawns for about 2-3 minutes per side, until they turn pink and are cooked through.

  5. Remove the prawns from the grill or broiler and brush them with additional herb butter sauce.

  6. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
