  • 300g fish fillets, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend the fish fillets until smooth.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the fish puree, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  4. Shape the mixture into finger-sized cakes and place them on a plate or baking sheet.

  5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

  6. Fry the fish cakes in batches for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

  7. Remove from the pan and place on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

  8. Serve hot as an appetizer or snack.
