  • 500g white fish fillets
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Cut the fish fillets into finger-sized pieces.

  3. In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Dip each fish finger into the beaten eggs, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.

  5. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  6. Fry the fish fingers in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking sheet.

  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes to ensure the fish is cooked through.

  8. Serve the crisp spiced fish fingers with tartar sauce or ketchup.
