How To Make Crab and Corn Chowder Recipe
A creamy soup with sweet corn and tender crab meat.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 strips of bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 cups of fresh or frozen corn kernels
- 3 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 lb of lump crab meat, picked through
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

In a large pot, cook the bacon until crispy.

Add the onion and garlic, cook until softened.

Stir in the potatoes and corn kernels.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

Stir in the heavy cream and crab meat. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the crab meat is heated through.

Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley.
