How To Make Crab Cakes with Dill Mayonnaise

Ingredients
- 1 pound lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup minced red bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- dill mayonnaise:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste

In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, green onions, red bell pepper, parsley, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Shape the mixture into 8 patties and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Cook the crab cakes for about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

To make the dill mayonnaise, combine mayonnaise, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Mix well.

Serve the crab cakes with the dill mayonnaise on the side.
