How To Make Pork Chops in Garlic Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until the mushrooms are softened.

Pour in the chicken broth and scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream and dried thyme. Stir well to combine.

Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon some of the sauce over them. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the pork chops are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

Serve the pork chops hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
