How To Make Tuna Niçoise Salad

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh tuna steak
- 4 cups mixed salad greens
- 2 cups cooked green beans
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 4 boiled eggs, sliced
- 1/2 cup Niçoise olives
- 1/4 cup capers
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Season the tuna steak with salt and pepper. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the tuna for 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice it into thin strips.

In a large bowl, combine the salad greens, green beans, cherry tomatoes, boiled eggs, Niçoise olives, capers, red onion, basil, and parsley.

In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
