Ingredients

  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large serving plate, arrange the mozzarella slices and tomato slices in an alternating pattern.

  2. Tuck the fresh basil leaves between the cheese and tomatoes.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Drizzle the dressing over the salad.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
