A refreshing salad with juicy tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and fresh basil, drizzled with tangy balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Arrange tomato slices and mozzarella slices on a large platter, alternating between the two.

  2. Tuck fresh basil leaves in between the tomato and mozzarella slices.

  3. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. In a small saucepan, whisk together balsamic vinegar and honey.

  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for about 5 minutes, until thickened and syrupy.

  6. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the salad.

  7. Drizzle olive oil over the salad.

  8. Serve and enjoy!
