How To Make Tex-Mex Beef Salad Recipe
This salad recipe is a delicious blend of Tex-Mex flavors with tender slices of beef, fresh veggies, and a zesty lime dressing that’s perfect for a light summer dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, sliced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 6 cups mixed salad greens
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and diced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Instructions

Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

In a small bowl, combine the cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture onto the sliced flank steak.

Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side, until medium-rare. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.

For the salad, combine the mixed greens, red onion, avocado, cherry tomatoes, jalapeño, and cilantro in a large bowl.
