How To Make Prime Rib Roast Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 lbs prime rib roast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp dried rosemary
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).

Rub the prime rib roast with olive oil, minced garlic, dried rosemary, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.

Place the roast on a roasting rack in a roasting pan.

Roast the prime rib for 15 minutes to sear the outside.

Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C) and continue roasting for about 1 hour and 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.

Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.
