How To Make Ultimate Macaroni Cheese

Ingredients
- 8 oz macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.

Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until well coated.

Transfer the macaroni mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.

Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

Let the macaroni cheese cool for a few minutes before serving.
