How To Make Tomato and Garlic Pasta

Ingredients
- 8 ounces of pasta
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 ounces) of diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the diced tomatoes, dried basil, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the tomato and garlic sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve the tomato and garlic pasta hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
