How To Make Stuffed Shells IV

Ingredients

  • 1 box of jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh basil
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 cups of marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, basil, garlic, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  5. Fill each cooked pasta shell with the cheese and beef mixture and place in a baking dish.

  6. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with additional shredded mozzarella cheese, if desired.

  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
