Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.

  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.

  3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese just before serving.

  6. Serve the spaghetti sauce over cooked pasta and enjoy!
