How To Make Easy Classic Lasagne Recipe

- 9 lasagne sheets
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat.

In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, grated mozzarella cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese.

Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Place 3 lasagne sheets on top, followed by a layer of the cheese mixture. Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of meat sauce on top.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.

Let the lasagne cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
