Ingredients

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound pasta of your choice

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  3. Remove the skillet from the heat and add the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and chopped basil. Stir until well combined and the cheeses have melted into a creamy sauce.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until the pasta is coated evenly with the sauce.

  6. Serve hot and garnish with additional grated Parmesan cheese and basil, if desired.
