How To Make Creamy Baked Ziti

Ingredients
- 8 oz ziti pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat.

Add the Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and marinara sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix the ricotta cheese and Parmesan cheese together.

In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce, followed by a layer of cooked ziti. Spoon half of the ricotta mixture over the ziti and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers one more time, ending with a layer of mozzarella cheese.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let the baked ziti cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
