Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

  3. Sprinkle flour into the skillet and whisk to combine with the butter and garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Gradually whisk in milk and continue to cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.

  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy garlic sauce.

  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
