Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

  2. Slowly pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir constantly to prevent burning.

  3. Reduce heat to low, and gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Continue cooking for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Remove from heat and let the sauce thicken for a few minutes.

  6. Serve over cooked pasta and garnish with fresh parsley.
