How To Make Cheesy Sprout Pasta Bake

Ingredients
- 300g pasta
- 300g Brussels sprouts, halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Place the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until tender and lightly charred.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, roasted Brussels sprouts, and cheese sauce. Mix well to coat everything evenly.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
