How To Make Broccoli Cheese with Wholemeal Pasta & Brown Breadcrumbs

- 300g wholemeal pasta
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 200g cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup brown breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook the wholemeal pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large pot of boiling water, blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the brown breadcrumbs and cook until golden brown and crispy. Remove from heat and set aside.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, blanched broccoli, and grated cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

Transfer the pasta mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the brown breadcrumbs evenly over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
