How To Make Seeded Wholemeal Loaf
A healthy and wholesome bread made with wholemeal flour and topped with a mix of seeds for added crunch.

Ingredients
- 2 cups wholemeal flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp mixed seeds (such as sunflower, pumpkin, and sesame)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the wholemeal flour, salt, and honey.

Pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil, then mix well until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.

Sprinkle the mixed seeds on top of the loaf and press them gently to adhere.

Place the loaf in a greased bread pan, cover, and let it rise for another 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Bake the seeded wholemeal loaf for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
