Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the diced potatoes in a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until they are slightly tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.

  3. Add the boiled potatoes to the skillet and sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat the potatoes with the seasonings.

  4. Cook the potatoes for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy.

  5. Serve the home fries hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
