Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground ham
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground ham, ground pork, bread crumbs, milk, onion, egg, garlic powder, and pepper. Mix well.

  3. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized balls and place them in a baking dish.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, vinegar, water, and ground mustard. Pour the mixture over the ham balls.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the ham balls are cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
