Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, pepper, thyme, parsley, and allspice.

  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.

  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Cook the meatballs in batches for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.

  5. Serve hot with your favorite sauce or gravy.
