Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, nutmeg, and allspice. Mix well.

  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook meatballs in batches until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.

  4. Transfer meatballs to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

  5. Serve hot with lingonberry sauce and mashed potatoes.
