How To Make Vegan Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients
- 2 cans of black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup of cooked quinoa
- 1/4 cup of diced onion
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed mixed with 6 tablespoons of water (flaxseed egg)
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for cooking
Instructions

In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher until they are mostly smooth.

Add the breadcrumbs, cooked quinoa, diced onion, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, flaxseed egg, soy sauce, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.

Shape the mixture into 4 patties, pressing them firmly together so they hold their shape.

Heat a little oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the burgers for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they are crispy and heated through.
