How To Make Mexican Burger

Ingredients

  • 2 burger buns
  • 250 g lean beef, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion power
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 1 tsp chipotle flakes
  • 10 g fresh coriander, (cilantro)
  • 70 g lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 2 tbsp guacamole
  • 20 g mature cheddar
  • 2 tbsp burger relish
  • ½ tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the mince and seasoning. Form into 2 burger patties and put in the fridge for 30 minutes. Heat the oil in a griddle pan over medium heat and cook the burgers for 10 minutes, turning occasionally.

  2. Top the burgers with cheese and either cover with a cloche/lid or put the burgers under a grill for 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.

  3. Cut the buns open and build the burger with lettuce, tomato, burger and cheese, guacamole and relish/sauce. Enjoy!
