Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and additional salsa for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salsa, bread crumbs, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness.

  4. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  5. Assemble the burgers by placing lettuce and tomato on the bottom bun, followed by the cooked burger patty. Top with additional salsa and the top bun.

  6. Serve the beef & salsa burgers with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
