  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Dip each chicken breast into the buttermilk, then coat it with the flour mixture, making sure it is fully coated.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Fry the chicken breasts in the hot oil for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. Remove the chicken from the pan and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  6. In another small saucepan, heat the honey, soy sauce, and hot sauce (if using) over low heat until heated through.
