Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 cups frozen tater tots

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.

  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook until the onion is translucent.

  4. Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheddar cheese, frozen corn, frozen peas, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the mixture is heated through and well combined.

  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.

  6. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the ground beef mixture.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
