- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) cream-style corn
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced jalapenos (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, and cream-style corn.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
