How To Make Ground Beef and Sweet Potato Casserole
A hearty dish that combines the sweetness of sweet potatoes and the richness of ground beef in one delicious casserole.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 medium sweet potatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel and dice sweet potatoes into 1-inch chunks.

In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat.

Add onion and garlic, and cook until onion becomes translucent.

Add sweet potatoes, diced tomatoes (with juice), salt, pepper, paprika and oregano. Stir to combine.

Transfer mixture to a baking dish and top with grated cheddar cheese.

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes, until sweet potatoes are fork-tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
