How To Make Fajita Marinade Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 pound chicken or beef, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

In a separate dish, place the sliced chicken or beef, onion, and bell pepper.

Pour the marinade over the meat and vegetables, and toss to coat.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight.

When ready to cook, heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Remove the meat and vegetables from the marinade and discard any excess.

Cook the meat and vegetables until they are cooked through and slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes.

Serve the fajita filling in warm tortillas with desired toppings, such as sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.
