How To Make Greek Lamb Meatballs

- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp ground coriander
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- For the Tzatziki Sauce:
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup grated cucumber
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, parsley, mint, oregano, salt, pepper, cumin, and coriander. Mix well using your hands.

Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1-2 inches in diameter.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Transfer the meatballs to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

Meanwhile, prepare the tzatziki sauce by combining Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.

Serve the Greek lamb meatballs with tzatziki sauce on the side.
