Ingredients

  • 500g minced lamb
  • 1 cup kuttu flour
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat oil and add onions. Saute until golden brown.

  2. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, and green chilies. Cook for a minute.

  3. Add minced lamb and cook until it changes color.

  4. Add tomato puree, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes.

  5. In a separate bowl, mix kuttu flour with water to make a soft dough. Divide into small balls and roll out into rotis.

  6. Heat a tawa or skillet and cook the rotis on both sides until golden brown.

  7. Remove the roti from the pan and place a generous amount of the lamb mixture in the center. Fold the roti to make a semi-circle.

  8. Serve hot with yogurt or raita.
