Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 tbsp peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Crush peppercorns in a small bowl. Mix in sage, garlic powder and salt.

  3. Rub mixture onto both sides of each pork chop.

  4. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.

  5. Transfer skillet to oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, until pork chops are cooked through.

  6. Allow pork chops to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
