How To Make Cardamom and Ginger Tea

A warm and soothing tea with the bold and spicy flavors of cardamom and ginger.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 green cardamom pods
  • 2-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil.

  2. Crush the cardamom pods slightly and add them to the water along with the ginger.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the tea simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Strain the tea and discard the cardamom pods and ginger.

  5. Add honey and lemon juice to the strained tea and stir well.

  6. Serve hot.
