Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 can of baked beans
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Toast the bread slices until golden brown and crispy.

  3. In a saucepan, heat the baked beans over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until hot.

  4. In a separate pan, melt the butter and add the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

  5. Place the toasted bread slices on a baking sheet and drizzle the garlic butter mixture over each slice.

  6. Spoon the hot baked beans evenly over the bread slices.

  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beans.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.

  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
