How To Make Black Beans & Avocado on Toast

Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 avocados, sliced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Toast the bread slices until golden brown.

In a small saucepan, heat the black beans over medium heat until warmed through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Mash half of the avocado slices in a bowl with the lime juice until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.

Spread the mashed avocado onto each slice of toast.

Top the avocado with a generous amount of black beans.

Garnish with the remaining avocado slices and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
