How To Make Plum & Almond Chutney

Ingredients
- 4 ripe plums, pitted and chopped
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions

In a saucepan, combine plums, almonds, onion, garlic, brown sugar, vinegar, ginger, cinnamon, red pepper flakes, and salt.

Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until plums are soft and mixture thickens, about 25-30 minutes.

Remove from heat and let cool completely.

Transfer the chutney to a jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Serve chilled with cheese, crackers, or as a topping for grilled meats.
