Ingredients

  • 1 can (15oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 pitta breads, cut into chips

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend together chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, and salt until smooth and creamy.

  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  3. Place the pitta chips on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until crispy.

  4. Serve the homemade hummus with the warm pitta chips.
