How To Make Penne with Cabbage & Walnuts

Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small head of cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the sliced cabbage and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the walnuts, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss to coat everything evenly.

Season with salt to taste.

Serve hot, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
