How To Make Halloumi Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 large bell peppers
- 200g halloumi cheese, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small red onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.

Add the sliced halloumi cheese and dried oregano to the pan. Cook until the cheese is slightly browned and melted.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Stuff each bell pepper with the halloumi mixture and place them in a baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
